About The Team

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative, financial, and tax tasks related to Wursta’s growth
- Liaise with the external accounting/legal support teams and collaborate with the team onsite in Ecuador as well as the Wursta team in the US
- Manage a contracts queue of newly executed Statements of Work and Order Forms
- Meet with the Wursta Services team to ensure accurate billing for Wursta Services
- Prepare journal entries to accrue revenue and expenses or other items in accordance with GLENIF/GAAP/IFRS and the accounting policies established by the company
- Perform financial analysis and assist with preparation of financial projections
- Daily accounts receivable (A/R) and collections management.
- Weekly compliance monitoring and reporting.
- Ad-hoc modeling projects on a 2-3 month basis.
- Data entry and reconciliation for the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom & Ireland.
- Invoicing backup and processing including professional services invoices.
- Management of the asset booking queue.
- Sales compensation administration and support.
- Proficiency in NetSuite financial software.
- Separation of duties - pass an audit for audited financials
- Accounts Payable / Receivable duties for all customers
Required Skills
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or related fields
- Effective verbal/written communication skills in both Spanish and English
- 1-4 years of experience related to billings, invoicing, customer service, and general accounting
- Use Excel/Sheets to record/organize data and model company performance
- Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and manage through ambiguity
- Flexibility to adapt to the fast pace of the company and changes as we grow
- Problem-solver and Self-starter able to figure out ways to accomplish tasks efficiently with minimal guidance
- Teamwork acumen to collaborate closely with cross-departmental teams
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CPA track will be strongly considered
- SaaS experience is a plus
- Sales and Used Tax Compliance or any compliance experience
- Experience with Project Accounting (time + material AND fixed price), product resale (SaaS preferred), and an understanding of deferred revenue recognition
- Experienced user of Quickbooks, Netsuite or other Accounting software
