REGENT is building the seaglider; the first electric flying machine that will transport commercial passengers. With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade.
We are actively hiring passionate interns who can help us get our vehicle to market as quickly and safely as possible. We are backed by the world’s best investors: the same investors who are behind SpaceX, Palantir, Boom Supersonic, and more. We have over $9B in provisional orders from some of the industry’s largest operators and are hitting the ground running. As a Composite Structures Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to do mission-critical design and analysis for REGENT's Composites Structures team.

- Perform complex modelling and finite element analysis at the detailed component level and major assembly level.
- Apply design for manufacturing concepts to create solutions that are cost-effective and easy to manufacture at a rate.
- In this role, you will work as part of a cross-functional team, collaborating with groups such as Aerodynamics, Mechanical Systems, Energy Storage, and Propulsion to solve challenging engineering problems.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
