Program Overview:
Platform One, a DoD-wide enterprise service capability intended to make the DoD DevSecOps initiative a reality by leveraging best practices at various classification levels. In support of Platform One, the Customer Experience team was developed to provide support throughout the customer life-cycle.
Position Overview/Responsibilities:
The Sr. IT Operations Analyst will provide support to end users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware. Handles escalated issues that the first tier of help desk support is unable to resolve.The Sr. IT Operations Analyst may interact with network services, software system engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identity and correct core problems. Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties and recommends system modifications to reduce user problems.
The Sr. IT Operations Analyst will maintain currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise. Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex tasks, presents solutions to problems, and contributes to deliverables and perform metrics where applicable.
Requirements:
- Able to troubleshoot issues to determine root-cause and drive to resolution
- Familiarity with Linux and scripting (Bash and Python, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Eager to learn new technologies
- Ability to work on high performing teams, work independently as well as within a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Service Now preferred
- 8750 Certification or Sec+ preferred
- Experience with cloud systems and architectures (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
