Production & Supply Coordinator / Analyst

BellroyCollingwood, AustraliaOnsite

IN A NUTSHELL

Since we launched with a range of six wallets in 2010, we’ve grown significantly and now release about 50 new products a year (give or take). Our Production team is in charge of ensuring all of these products (and those yet to come) are manufactured on time, in the right quantity and to up to standard. As our Production and Supply Coordinator, you'll work closely with suppliers, courier services, and freight forwarders—often managing them simultaneously—to keep everything running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include creating production plans, setting delivery timelines, and anticipating potential issues or delays before they arise. Effective communication will be key, ensuring both external partners and internal teams stay on track. You’ll oversee factory output, monitor stock levels, and manage external logistics, including the shipment of raw materials, finished goods, and samples. Beyond coordination, we’re looking for someone curious and data-driven, who enjoys analyzing information to improve processes and help the team make better decisions.

You'll track key metrics, identify cost-saving opportunities, and boost efficiency, contributing directly to streamlining our operations.Bring your desire to learn, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills, and in return, we’ll provide you with a supportive, inclusive team, engaging work, and the resources to further develop your skills.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU…

  • Have 1-3 years experience in supply chain - logistics, purchasing, supplier management (we would also consider equivalent educational experience)
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and logical, careful decision-making within your known areas
  • Are organised and analytical, with great attention to detail
  • Love a good spreadsheet and want to continue developing your skills in this space
  • Possess excellent communication and relationship management skills, you would be comfortable negotiating costs and timelines with suppliers, carriers and freight forwarders
  • Enjoy deep diving into data, and have a knack for seeing the right insights to produce useful reports and make calibrated recommendations for the wider team
  • Like to understand problems and have a desire to search for the root cause. You’d much rather suggest long-term solutions vs fixing symptoms
  • Have the desire to work collaboratively in a team within a fast-paced, agile environment

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK, YOU MIGHT HAVE…

  • Collaborated with your manager to develop efficient shipment plans and communicated them to suppliers.
  • Monitored supplier production schedules and delivery timelines, taking proactive measures to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Created a report on logistics performance metrics, including delivery times and transportation costs.
  • Analysed our freight efficiency & forwarder performance, investigated further opportunities to improve transit time, order consolidation and cost-saving
  • Worked with our Supply Planner to understand the required orders, and generated purchase orders for them.
  • Negotiated with external freight forwarders to balance cost and lead time for optimal shipment options.
  • Organized sample shipments to HQ for Quality Control inspections.
  • Reviewed shipment statuses in the ERP system (Netsuite) and kept internal teams updated on any delays, including actions taken to ensure timely delivery.
  • Worked with your manager in the continuous improvement of existing processes

LOCATION AND HOURS

This role is a full-time role based in our Collingwood office.

Life at Bellroy

Bellroy puts its heart, soul and countless design hours into helping the world carry with greater simplicity and ease. Every piece has been deeply considered to help you get the best of life's little moments. In the early 2000s, as slim tailoring became popular, bulky wallets couldn't hide anymore. So, a team of product designers and creatives (who also happened to be friends) sat around a kitchen table in Bells Beach, Australia, to design a slim wallet with fewer layers of leather and better card positioning. The release of this product in 2010 signaled the birth of the Bellroy brand, and we've come a fair way since then... We recognized pretty early on that we could use business as a force for good. So, as a certified B Corp, we constantly pursue better ways to source our leathers, reduce our impact on the environment and make sure our products last as long as possible. Our range of carry goods has moved beyond pockets and includes solutions for your tech, work accessories and more - right down to the humble set of keys. Because as long as there are things to carry through our lives, we want to find better ways to store, protect and carry them. bellroy.com twitter.com/bellroy facebook.com/carrybellroy instagram.com/bellroy medium/bellroy
