Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will help support and enhance our existing automated testing suite, currently comprising over 200 regression tests written in Kotlin using Selenium. You will work closely with our development team to ensure the quality and stability of our platform, contributing to a seamless and efficient customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Kotlin.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand new features and write corresponding test cases.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot test failures, report bugs and verify fixes.
- Work in an agile environment with weekly sprints, daily stand-ups, and regular retrospectives.
Requirements
- Programming Skills: Ability to write easy-to-support code in any programming language.
- Web Applications Knowledge: Strong understanding of how web applications work, including a high-level understanding of the HTTP protocol.
- Basic Selenium Knowledge: Ability to write and maintain basic Selenium test scripts.
- Basic SQL Knowledge: Ability to perform simple queries and understand relational database concepts.
- Languages: Fluency in one of the following languages: English, Ukrainian, or Russian.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with automation frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud environments.
- Prior experience in a Scrum or Agile development environment.
