Project Assistant

ODL Services a subsidiary of Barbaricum is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Assistant in the Mesa Arizona area supporting training support services for out of area students attending training.

We are seeking a Project Assistant to support the management and execution of training services in Mesa, AZ. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role involves assisting with scheduling, resourcing, tracking, and delivering training support for out-of-area students. The Project Assistant will collaborate with company partners, service providers, and attend both in-person and virtual meetings.

Additionally, you will work directly with students to ensure all support requirements are met promptly. Strong communication skills are essential for gathering and relaying information to the Project Manager and team members across the country. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, manage their own schedule, and meet recurring deadlines to ensure compliance and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the execution of administrative, managerial, operational and program plans within the scope of their assigned project or task.
• Assist in the develop of schedules, resource plans and milestones for project completion.
• Execute schedules, resource implementation, and tracking policies for the project as outlined in the standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Work in concert with other program managers, project managers and task managers, both internal and external partners to execute the project schedule.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is desired.
• Associates’ degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing projects of similar size & scope.
• 5+ years of prior US Military experience is highly desired.
• Skilled in coordinating with external agencies and internal organizational elements, establishing responsibilities, and setting expectations.
• Experience in dealing with a wide variety of military service organizations, both US and foreign allied partner nations desired.
