Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Federal Inside Sales Representative to join our Federal Sales team. The primary focus of this role will be to cover and grow the Federal System Integrator (FSI) market segment. You will be responsible for developing relationships with key federal accounts, driving sales strategies, and delivering Veeam’s solutions to meet the complex needs of federal system integrators. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to Veeam’s growing presence in the federal market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow Veeam’s presence within the FSI sector.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with federal system integrators, ensuring that sales targets and quotas are achieved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within federal system integrators.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including technical engineers, marketing, and channel partners, to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Stay up to date with federal policies, procurement regulations, and industry trends to position Veeam effectively in the federal market.
- Manage and report on pipeline, forecasts, and sales activities using Veeam’s CRM and other reporting tools.
- Work closely with the partner ecosystem to engage in joint sales activities and leverage relationships with key tech vendors and service providers.
- Present Veeam’s value proposition, conduct product demos, and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of federal sales experience, preferably in IT infrastructure, data management, or cloud technologies.
- Proven track record of success in selling to Federal System Integrators (FSIs) or other similar entities within the federal market.
- Deep understanding of the federal procurement process, compliance regulations, and government contracting.
- Strong network and established relationships within the FSI community.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with Veeam’s solutions or related data protection and management technologies is a plus.
The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay.
