The ideal candidate would have the ability to work with minimal supervision as well as being a successful team player, have outstanding communications skills and experience in Telecommunication with Construction background as well.The Construction Coordinator is responsible for job creation workflow and milestone management of construction projects as well as administrative quality control of jobs.  (This is meant to be a guide.

Duties may vary dependent upon management.)The ideal candidate would have the ability to work with minimal supervision as well as being a successful team player, have outstanding communications skills and experience in Telecommunications.

Essential Position Functions


Manage & Track Milestones:


  • Create jobs 
  • Issue Jobs to design
  • Manage job through full lifecycle updating milestones 
  • Reconcile jobs 

Liaise with Stakeholders


  • Point of contact for all internal Customers cross functional groups 
  • Provide reporting for next level management

Identify Resources


  • Create and approve funding request
  • Material management and reconciliation 
  • Research contracts and agreements
  • Manage funding request/purchase order
  • Responsible for job estimate 

Manage and Analyze Quality control Flow


  • Manage quality control workflow
  • Validate that the field quality control is performed
  • Pull reports/provide feedback based on analysis of reports
  • Interact with other roles, including specialists and permit coordinators to ensure all milestones have been closed

Conduct admin and Milestone Quality Control


  • Follow admin and Milestone Quality Control
  • Validate permit is closed
  • Final invoice milestone is set
  • Close jobs
  • Escalate any project related issues that may impact completion and/or customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as required

Education and/or Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED required.  
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in Hybrid Fiber Coaxial and Construction. 
  • Strong organizational, oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understand the fundamentals of Communications construction required.
  • Must be able to work alone, and with a team.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
