We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator. This role reports to Sr. Manager, Clinical Supply Chain and is responsible for supporting various aspects of supply chain management, including but not limited to Procurement, Storage, Inventory Management, Transportation and Distribution of Adverum materials.
This is a 6-month contract .
What you'll do:
- Ensures all activities within span of control meet or exceed Adverum Biotechnology ‘s standards and meet full compliance of all applicable regulatory governing (e.g. FDA, EU, USDA, DEA, DOT as applicable).
- Must have experience in creating and managing purchase orders and ensuring their accuracy.
- Communicate with vendors/suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate terms when necessary.
- Assist in creating procedures, plans, and documentation associated with Quality Control, Facilities, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing functions.
- Coordinate transportation, track shipments, and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
- Maintain accurate records in supply chain systems, often including invoicing, shipping records, and inventory data.
- Maintain trackers to ensure they have the most up-to-date information to inform all internal/external stakeholders of shipping activities.
- Maintain shipment and inventory metrics.
- Coordinates within CMC to ship samples from each manufacturing batch to storage facilities.
- Monitors and tracks shipments to all Adverum facilities or partners to ensure smooth transit through the logistical path, including international shipping.
- Prepares all supporting customs documents for international shipments.
- Maintains collaborative relationships with third-party vendors to ensure that the complete scope of shipping activities remains compliant with quality requirements.
- Record, coordinate, and oversee sample transfers between storage facilities to maintain chain-of-custody audit trails.
- Document and maintain inventory and organization of all applicable materials, including but not limited to devices, products, components, and consumables.
- Assist with any shipment deviations and provide Technical/Impact assessments for OOS temperature/humidity conditions during storage and shipment of materials.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Biotech/Pharma industry
- At least 2-4 years of work experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
- Must be highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to conduct work independently.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft systems, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Team-oriented, creative, and eager to take on responsibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and external collaborators.
- Trade Compliance knowledge is a plus.
- Working experience and knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements.
- Cold Chain Experience is required; CMC support experience and/or Clinical Supply experience is preferred.
