Job Description
Role Type: W2 Contract
Work Status: US Citizen, Green Card holder
Term: 6 months, potential conversion

What You’ll Do
As a non-exempt/hourly employee at Burwood, The Technical Team Lead provides technical leadership and guidance to a team of architects and engineers across multiple technical disciplines. This role involves defining and implementing technical strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and program management to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain the technical solution strategy, ensuring it aligns with the overall business and project outcomes.
Solution Architecture:
- Oversee the design and documentation of technical solutions in support of business and project outcomes.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of appropriate technologies and platforms to meet project requirements.
- Ensure that technical solutions adhere to established standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Team Management:
- Manage and motivate a team of architects and engineers.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Technical Governance:
- Establish and enforce technical governance processes and standards.
- Review and approve technical designs and solutions.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks.
Qualifications
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as follows:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5-8+ years of experience in architecture and engineering technical solutions.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
- Works closely with stakeholders, program and project managers to ensure teams deliver to objectives
- M&A exposure or direct experience in supporting and/or leading M&A activities from a technical perspective

- Networking
- Various Data Center Technologies
- End User Computing, VDI, Azure Virtual Desktop
- Security and security solutions
- Telephony, collaboration (i.e. Microsoft O365, Teams)
