Job Description
What You’ll Do
The Associate Project Manager supports Burwood’s PMO by facilitating project planning, resourcing, tasking tracking, and administrative activities for both internal and customer-facing engagements. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with multiple teams to enforce management standards, to oversee project portfolio performance, and to support Technical Leads and Project Managers on larger client engagements. Additionally, the Associate Project Manager will help drive internal Burwood initiatives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
More discreet responsibilities include:
Owns management responsibilities for smaller scale and/or standardized initiatives, including the planning and oversight of scope execution.
Supports Project Managers and/or Technical Leads in larger scale initiatives via task coordination, project reporting, project documentation, and meeting scribe.
Tracks status of project tasks, schedules, and milestones, and provides relevant updates to the project team.
Handles administrative tasks as necessary on internal and client projects to keep individual contributors focused on production work.
Serves as application SME and administrative owner for internal time, resource, and invoice management system
Fosters communication and transparency amongst all teams involved in the delivery of projects, including clients.
Supports management of Burwood resource pool, internal time/invoicing systems, and of PMO/DevOps-related initiatives.
Qualifications
Who You Are
You are an eager, self-starting Associate who is excited to grow in this role.
You ideally have experience with Agile project management methodology, processes, and tools.
You ideally have experience with Waterfall project management methodology, processes, and tools.
You preferably have experience working in a consulting environment.
You are comfortable speaking to and working with Burwood clients.
You are extremely organized - you always stay ahead of the game.
You are high energy - you get tasks done quickly and with a sense of urgency.
You are a multi-tasker with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks within a given time constraint.
You have strong relationship building skills and work well with a variety of people.
You are a team player - honest, reliable, and accountable.
You have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
You are highly detail and process oriented.

Compensation packages at Burwood Group are based on various factors unique to each candidate including work location, skillset, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. The estimated salary range for this role is $80-$95,000. This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. Sales roles have an additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
