Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Applications Engineer to join our Pixelligent team. As an Associate Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and testing of our UV-curable nanocomposite products. You will work closely with our product development team to support customer projects and the innovation of formulations used in opto-electronic applications (e.g. nanoimprint and inkjet).
Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of Senior Manager or Director, performs routine laboratory tasks in formulations development, including liquid and film characterization techniques.Collects data for internal product development team using database software. May be asked to process and organize data as needed by Senior manager/project lead.Contributes to writing product application notes for customers.Assists in collaborative discussions as needed.Document and communicate technical information to Senior Manager/project leadLab time could be 70 to 90%, allowing for non-laboratory activities (e.g., data management, data analysis)Requirements- BS degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering or related field with 0-1 years of experience- Basic understanding of formulation development and/or materials characterization- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve using analytical skills- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
