The role
We are now seeking a solution-oriented and skilled
Frontend Developer
to join our product team in Bergen. As a frontend developer at Aquabyte, you will build the user interface for our fish farming customers. You will collaborate well with product managers and UX designers, as well as with our developer team in San Francisco, and you have a passion for creating fantastic products. You understand the language of our researchers and are inspired to transform data into insightful visualizations. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering high-quality software products and continuous improvement.At Aquabyte, we foster a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering
- Experience with React
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, with a preference for TypeScript
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and LESS
Nice to have
- Experience with Node.js and Express is a plus
- Familiarity with JavaScript build tools like Webpack is a plus
- Experience with databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Data visualization skills
