Job Summary:We are recruiting for a passionate IT Engineer with +3 years experience to join our UK and Ireland IT team on a full-time, permanent basis.


You will be providing both 1st and 2nd line support, on-site and remote, requiring a good level of both technical and customer service skills.This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will be required to work in our Chorley office one day per week.

Job Description:


Cultura is a growing collaborative of people, businesses and insights that enables better decisions to build a thriving and resilient agri-food system.As part of the IT Team supporting Cultura's UK and Ireland businesses, you will report to the IT Manager and take ownership of the service desk, providing high level remote and on-site support to our users. You will investigate and diagnose desktop, server and network issues and maintenance tasks, including the internal knowledgebase, and maintain mobile devices.

You will configure and install IT solutions and develop automation and process improvements within the team based in ITIL principles.The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer science or related field would be advantageous.
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role providing IT support (1st & 2nd level).
  • Excellent experience in working with and supporting end user devices (notebooks, tablets, Macbooks, iPads etc).
  • In depth knowledge of MacOS and Windows operating systems (desktop and server).
  • Proficient in hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting software applications.
  • IP Networking/Switching experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a solid attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem resolution skills.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies.
