Summary
The purpose of this position is to ensure the compliance of the IT operating procedures in conjunction with protection of the organization's systems and data. The coordinator will assist with creating and updating IT documentation for policies, procedures and security processes. The IT Coordinator will also provide support to the IT team, assist in the implementation of systems, and ensure the team meets their goals and deadlines.
Essential Functions
- Aid with implementing and maintaining internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), PCI, NIST and best practices.
- Assist with annual compliance review including SOX Audits, PCI compliance and licensing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Provide tracking of the patch management program.
- Track investigations for identified or reported risks, compliance breaches and security events.
- Assist with employee security awareness training program.
- Aid with user access and software license reviews.
- Coordinate and track IT projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers on support contracts and agreement renewals.
- Verify approvals and provides data upload support into the company ERP system.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or 2–4 years in the field of IT Compliance or Security
- Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Compliance, PCI Compliance, NIST Framework
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
