Safety & Compliance Manager

• 
  Develops, implements, and enforces safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
• 
  Conducts regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• 
  Investigates accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• 
  Develops and delivers safety training programs for employees at all levels.
• 
  Promotes a safety-conscious culture throughout the organization.
• 
  Oversees the maintenance of safety equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
• 
  Stays informed of industry best practices and regulatory changes related to safety.
• 
  Develops and maintains a quality management system (QMS) in line with ISO 9001:2015 or other relevant standards.
• 
  Oversees the implementation and adherence to quality standards, procedures, and best practices throughout the production process.
• 
  Conducts internal audits to ensure compliance with the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
• 
  Manages external audits and regulatory inspections.
• 
  Ensures accurate and timely documentation of inspections, audits, corrective actions, and other quality-related activities.
• 
  Collaborates with other departments to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained throughout the organization.
• 
  Monitors and analyzes quality data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
• 
  Develops and implements corrective and preventive actions to address identified quality problems and prevent recurrence.
• 
  Supervises and mentors the Quality Control team and our governmental compliance initiatives (OSHA, EPA, other Federal Agencies, ect.)
• 
  Assigns tasks, sets priorities, and monitors workload distribution to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
• 
  Fosters a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, encouraging open communication and problem-solving.
• 
  Leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
• 
  Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred or combination of education and experience.
• 
  Minimum of 5 years in a Safety and Compliance Leadership role required -(state regulations, Tier II reporting, federal regulations, Safety Stand Down process, ect.) 
• 
  Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices for safety.
• 
  Prior manufacturing experience is required. Experience in Press/Print preferred.
• 
  Familiarity with management systems and standards such as ISO 9001:2015.
• 
  Background in Continuous Improvement and leading initiatives preferred.
• 
  Financial acumen preferred.
• 
  Experience with statistical process control, data analysis tools, and root cause analysis techniques.

• 
  Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• 
  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 
  Thorough understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
• 
  Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
• 
  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• 
  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
•
