We are seeking a Vice President of Strategic Accounts who will drive sales and revenue growth by developing long-term health system strategic plans to promote and sell Capsa’s full portfolio of products to C-Suite health system partners. This is a sales leadership role that will work cross-functionally to build Capsa’s go-to-market strategy that fits the organization’s broader focus on point of care workflow enablement as well as innovative central fill technologies. This position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and will be a fully remote position with travel expectations.

As Capsa’s Vice President of Strategic Accounts, your contributions to the team will include:
- Lead, develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales and achieve revenue targets across the health systems market for Capsa Healthcare.
- Identify and engage with key C-Suite decision-makers and stakeholders within health systems to understand their needs and pain points.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers within the health system industry.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure successful implementation and adoption of our solutions.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay up to date with industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Lead negotiations for long-term contracts with health systems, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
- Create and manage the annual sales & expense budget for the health system market.
- Provide leadership for the health system team members (approximately 5-10 individuals); prioritize, set direction, and coach team members to ensure Capsa’s range of end-to-end solutions are fully marketed.
- Manage and maintain the sales team’s disciplined use of Salesforce database to include opportunity detail, forecast, and pipeline data.
- Travel as required to successfully lead the health system sales team; including but not limited to a customer’s facility, joint sales calls with RSMs and tradeshows both domestic and international; travel may be up to 50%.
What we ask of you:
- 10+ years’ experience and a proven track record of success in leading and selling healthcare solutions to health systems, with a focus on point of care workflow enablement, inventory control, and medication management solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of health system operations, challenges, and trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of our solutions to C-suite executives within health systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with internal teams to drive customer success.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with experience in negotiating long-term contracts with health systems.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, with a focus on driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry conferences and events.
