SUMMARY
Support and facilitate logistics activities of organization by coordinating personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to;
- Reviews and code high volume freight bills for processing (Ceva, Nippon, and FedEx). Assist in resolution of billing disputes. Codes prepaid shipping invoices to Accounts Payable/Finance
- Classifies with proper USHTS code purchased items against the Commercial Invoice, Packing List and air or ocean waybill and faxes to appropriate Freight Forwarder for smooth U. S. Customs release.
- Advises in-house personnel of all inbound shipments with delivery/shipping details
- Maintains required record keeping/filling for all imports/exports, 3PL (3rd party logistics) and environmental activities. Provide/create required forms and commercial invoices for import/exports
- Prepares documentation in association with international shipments inbound and outbound – freight bills, bills of lading, classification of commodities, Commercial and Proforma invoices, HTS and ECCN numbers
- Conducts daily logistics support activities with inbound tracking of shipments and preparation of outbound shipments
- Prepares export documentation for all outbound destinations working with international freight forwarders and international carriers to book shipments and advises consignees on arrivals
- Verifies NAFTA-qualified products with North American vendors and issues all NAFTA certificates
- Examines invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to tariff and customs regulations
- Prepares report of international transactions to inform consignees of impending arrivals
- Tracks and prepares report for all entries by vendor of duty/weight/freight amounts
- Prepares high volume of critical reports in Excel for analysis and evaluation of logistics activities by Management
- Assists in data gathering of quarterly C02 emissions and complete reporting of those emissions to SmartWay quarterly to Fujitsu Japan and to EPA
- Ensures Fujitsu is in compliance with all licensing, classification and applicable requirements of the Dept. of Commerce or other pertaining government agencies
- Reviews all updates of various International Trade publications for current laws, guidelines and recommendations - routes any pertinent information to appropriate staff
- Regular work site attendance
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect related data in order to prepare key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain and support ISO procedures to reflect current processes for department
- Participate on international freight forwarders/carrier reviews and conduct supportive activities to evaluate carrier’s performance
- Work with other departments such as Regulatory Engineering to obtain information on specific commodities
- Adhere to company policies, ISO requirements, safety and quality
- Support continual improvement efforts

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Individual must be well versed with imports and exports shipment requirements.Training in HTS and ECCN classification.Minimum 3-years’ experience with classification and use of harmonized tariff schedule of the United States.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Demonstrate ability to effectively use computer and applicable computer software. Advanced knowledge ofExcel, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Experience with ERP systems required, Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus. Experienced with Excel pivot tables and V-look up.
TRAVEL
Must be able and willing to travel (up to 5%) domestically. Willing to travel by plane to locations in other states to attend vender meetings.Employment with Fujitsu is considered to be at-will, which means that both the employee and Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc.
