Reporting to the Sr. Content & Campaign Marketing Manager, the Marketing Content Specialist will be responsible for helping drive the content strategy as well as crafting and creating copy for external and internal communications across social, blog, web, digital, and print.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant, compelling and valuable content that meets the needs of all personas and audiences
- Create thought leadership content with the help of subject matter experts each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include web pages, case studies, testimonials, ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, video, social, etc.).
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive blog and content calendar.
- Work closely with internal product managers on new product releases and sales enablement materials when needed
- Write clear, concise, and conversational copy; short-form (digital banners and social posts), long-form (email and blog), and everything in between.
- Collaborate closely with the entire marketing team to come up with creative solutions and work well with stakeholders and reviewers to keep the brand voice consistent.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- You know what makes a killer headline and have a knack for both traditional and digital copywriting.
- You can adjust our brand voice and tone based on medium and audience.
- Ability to move quickly, test the copy you create, and iterate to find the perfect performance-based solution.
- Must possess outstanding writing skills, and the ability to develop and curate content that supports the company’s marketing, communications and brand building initiatives.
- You take initiative, keep organized, and can handle multiple projects at once.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent grammar, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and close attention to detail.
- You’re a fast writer – speed will always be of the essence.
- Outstanding editing, writing and content development skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and actively contribute to multiple deadline-driven tasks and projects.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
- Comfortable collaborating and working within a highly matrixed environment of marketers, creatives, and thought leaders.

Education and/or Experience:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in copywriting, content creation and communications.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience ‘ideating’ for integrated campaigns and new product launches.
