Cognicion LLC, a boutique eDiscovery services and information management provider is actively recruiting a talented professional to support various day-to-day substantive and technical needs of staffed eDiscovery review projects. Responsibilities include managing the life cycle of contract document reviewers engaged to perform in-platform review. Ensures quality results and a high level of client satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Functions as the primary point-of-contact for contract reviewers using review platforms (Everlaw, Relativity) and answers project-specific substantive questions and general administrative questions.Works with Cognicion HR to facilitate the engagement, onboarding, and release of contract reviewers for staffed managed reviews.Collaborates with project consultants to set up all review and QC searches, create fields and layouts, and create batches and other reviewer workflows within the review database. Updates searches and workflows throughout the review.Troubleshoots contract reviewer database and platform access issues in programs including Adobe, Microsoft Word, Relativity, Everlaw, and timekeeping software.Runs and reports metrics detailing review rate/completion and reviewer pace, as required. Provides feedback to contractors and distributes metrics reports to client/counsel.Performs quality control processes according to best practice quality standards.Provides project-specific training to contractor review teams as needed; provides substantive feedback to ensure high-quality output.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS)
- Juris Doctorate degree.
- 1-year of experience in Litigation Document Review.
- Administrative knowledge of litigation management software including Relativity, Everlaw, Adobe, and Microsoft Suite.
- Knowledge of technology assisted review practices such as email threading and predictive coding.
