We want someone who’s ready to take our digital presence to the next level.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our lead generation efforts by leveraging analytics and reporting to target, identify and attract the right audiences. Your role ensures our digital campaigns are not only effective but optimized for performance. The digital marketing specialist contributes to the planning and execution of digital campaigns leveraging paid search, display, social media and email channels. You are analytical, detail-oriented and process-driven, supporting Marketing and Revenue Operations to maintain a clean database and seamless handoff of leads to the BDR/Sales team. Ideally, you have 2-3+ years of marketing experience with a B2B background.Responsibilities

  • Create emails, landing pages, forms, and drip campaigns in Marketing Could Account Engagement (aka Pardot)
  • Work with campaign stakeholders to build and report on lead nurturing programs through Pardot automation, email personalization and lead scoring/grading
  • Launch digital marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms including paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to meet targeting, budget, and goals
  • Employ a testing mindset with the ability to plan, set up, and analyze split-testing and A/B campaigns using a combination of best practices and creative problem-solving to continually improve a campaign’s performance
  • Manage prospects - cleaning & uploading lists of prospects/leads from various sources (3rd party activations, tradeshows, etc.) and following standard operating procedures (SOPs) for removing invalid/irrelevant contacts, standardizing data and preparing lists for upload into Pardot
  • Maintain the integrity of the database, create accurate list segmentations to collaborate with RevOps to ensure proper synchronization between marketing platforms (e.g., Pardot, Salesforce, Cvent and GoToWebinar). Monitor email sending schedule, deliverability/bounce rates and flag issues to internal stakeholders to maintain database health
  • Lead process knowledge & adherence - Understanding marketing and sales definitions & processes (e.g. lead creation, conversion and sales hand-off processes, library of standard and custom fields used in Pardot/Salesforce, Campaign hierarchy and touchpoint tracking) to support, monitor, manage and troubleshoot issues with RevOps that might occur
  • Create dashboards and run reports (e.g. Google Analytics, Data Studio, Pardot/CRM Analytics) to communicate performance metrics with campaign stakeholders, make actionable suggestions on which platforms and channels to use based on campaign performance, goals, and target demographics
  • Develop and document SOPs associated with any tasks assigned
  • Stay up to date on current industry trends and learn new technical skills
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, IT or a related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of digital marketing experience in B2B marketing, public sector or technology fields (including email marketing, digital advertising & website management)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS to be able to update email and landing page templates and style web forms
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Excel to scrub lists and build reports
  • Advanced user of marketing automation platforms (e.g. Pardot, Marketo). Pardot Specialist or Pardot Consultant certification is a plus
  • Experience with A/B testing and marketing campaign optimization
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, CMS (e.g. WordPress, Drupal, Wix)
  • Experience setting up and running Google Ads, LinkedIn/Facebook Ads, Remarketing (e.g. AdRoll)
  • Analytical mind with an impeccable eye for detail, process-driven and loves to find creative solutions to problems
  • Basic project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Based in the Ottawa area working from the corporate office
