First Orion is seeking a Product Marketing Analyst to join our team! What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze product performance metrics, such as sales data, adoption rates, and user feedback.
- Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to support go-to-market strategies.
- Create and manage dashboards that provide insights into product success and market dynamics.
- Assist in developing messaging, positioning, and content for product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product development and enhancements.
- Support pricing and packaging strategies through data-driven analysis.
- Assist in the creation of buyer personas and customer journey maps.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for product marketing efforts.
- Monitor competitive products and provide analysis of strengths and weaknesses.
- Researching and developing an understanding of First Orion’s products, tools, and processes
- Working with business stakeholders to design both business and product health KPIs for alert monitoring and reporting for products, solutions, and internal systems
- Promoting Continuous Improvement using customer, stakeholder, and business lead feedback, as well as intake of industry standard shifts
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative or business field (Marketing, Business, Math, Computer Science) or related degree programs (e.g. Instructional design) and/or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or other data analysis tools.
- Experience with market research methodologies and competitive analysis.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with product marketing concepts such as positioning, go-to-market strategies, and buyer personas.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams in marketing, product, and sales.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate findings
- Extensive analytic, business, and product-defining skills
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite
Bonus Points:
- Knowledgeable in building business models and forecasting
- Telecom experience
- Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Experience in technology or SaaS industries.
- Understanding of digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, or social media platforms).
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization strategies.
- Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) tools or methodologies.
