Overview
This global role works directly with the Chief Marketing Officer, Group Managing Director (Digital Products & Platforms) and other Service Line leaders to craft and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy for all services at Xebia. This is a high visibility role in our organization, as you will have the opportunity to directly collaborate with Xebia’s entire leadership team -- including the CEO -- on the future of the of the company’s GTM strategy. Key responsibilities include the coordination of global and regional marketing efforts, leading a diverse team of senior marketers, and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
What you’ll do:
- Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate closely with Service Line leaders to design and implement the global marketing plan, focusing on core themes and messaging for target markets.
- Team Leadership & Guidance: Lead a global team of Service Line marketers, providing strategic direction and oversight in plan development, while supporting the execution of their initiatives.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Work alongside business leaders to identify optimal routes to market for various service offerings, leveraging partnerships, alliances, and influencer marketing. Prioritize efforts based on strategic goals, recognizing that not all services require marketing.
- Global Coordination: Ensure alignment and coordination between global service line strategies and regional marketing teams to maintain consistency across regions. Collaborate with regional sales leadership to ensure marketing efforts align with their goals and priorities.
- Campaign Development: Oversee the creation and implementation of global marketing campaigns across digital and physical channels, including paid media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and global events. Ensure campaigns are localized and targeted effectively by regional teams.
- Offering Taxonomy & Messaging: Partner with business leaders to manage and refine the service line taxonomy (L1, L2, L3) and value propositions. Ensure that narratives and messaging resonate with regional buyers and are accurately reflected on the company website.
- Website & Digital Presence: Drive the execution of the service line go-to-market (GTM) strategy on the website, including the development of landing pages, blogs, digital content, SEO keywords, and overall taxonomy. Collaborate with the performance marketing team to optimize execution.
- Thought Leadership & Content: Lead the development of thought leadership materials, including whitepapers, presentations, and videos, in partnership with marketing centers of excellence.
- Partner Co-Marketing: Oversee global co-marketing efforts with key ecosystem partners, working closely with partner marketing teams to ensure alignment.
- Customer Advocacy: Lead initiatives to develop customer references, testimonials, and case studies. Work with account teams and Presales to build strong customer relationships and drive advocacy.
- Budget & Performance Management: Manage budgets for content creation, campaigns, and events. Track and report on key marketing metrics, ensuring alignment with the company’s global operating model and marketing analytics.
What we are looking for:
- Proven Leadership Experience: 15+ years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role, with a proven ability to lead global teams and manage cross-functional initiatives.
- Strategic Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of developing and executing global marketing strategies for complex service offerings, with a focus on both digital and traditional channels.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Knowledge: Extensive experience in developing GTM strategies, including managing offering-level taxonomy, value propositions, and messaging targeted to different regions and markets.
- Team Management & Collaboration: Experience leading and mentoring marketing teams across different regions, ensuring alignment of strategies, and driving execution in collaboration with sales and business leadership.
- Digital Marketing Skills: Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, paid media, content marketing, and the use of marketing automation tools to drive engagement and lead generation.
- Partner Marketing Experience: Strong experience with partner ecosystem marketing, including co-marketing with strategic partners and alliances to drive joint campaigns.
- Customer Advocacy & Relations: Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and leverage those relationships to drive customer advocacy, testimonials, and case studies.
- Content Development & Thought Leadership: Skilled in the development of thought leadership, including whitepapers, blogs, presentations, and videos, with a focus on showcasing service line expertise.
- Analyst Relations Expertise: Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships with industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, Forrester). Proven ability to manage analyst engagement strategies, secure positive coverage, and leverage analyst insights to guide marketing strategies and influence industry perceptions.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to lead multiple marketing projects and campaigns from inception to completion.
- Data-Driven Marketing: Demonstrated ability to track and report on key performance metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and campaign performance.
- Budget Management: Experience managing and optimizing marketing budgets for campaigns, content creation, and events.
- Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex marketing strategies to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Executive Presence: Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to influence, inspire, and communicate effectively at the highest levels of the organization. This includes confidently representing marketing strategies and decisions to C-suite executives and senior leadership teams, as well as building credibility and rapport with key stakeholders.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the IT Services and consulting, with a particular focus on Software Development / Digital Engineering.
- Global Perspective: Proven experience working in international markets and understanding global business dynamics.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (MBA preferred).
