Role Summary


As a Senior Solutions Consultant in the Client Growth department, you will be integral to supporting the company’s biggest opportunities by collaborating closely with our sales team. You will engage with the world’s top R&D spenders and law firms, offering tailored solutions to help them maximize the potential of Patsnap’s platform. This role is critical in driving growth and long-term success by aligning technical capabilities with client business needs, directly impacting the success of high-value clients.

What You'll Be Doing


  • Partner with the sales team on high-profile opportunities, providing technical expertise to secure key accounts
  • Understand and analyze clients’ R&D, IP, and innovation challenges to design customized solutions that leverage Patsnap’s platform
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Patsnap’s product features, industry trends, and broader market insights, serving as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Ensure client success and retention by providing expert consultations and supporting the effective deployment of new platform features
  • • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve any technical challenges swiftly and maintain a seamless client experience
  • • Lead workshops, webinars, and training sessions to educate clients on best practices for leveraging our platform to drive innovation and manage IP
  • • Identify and drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities, expanding platform usage within existing client accounts

About You:


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in solutions consulting, sales engineering, or a similar role, ideally in the software or information services industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in intellectual property management, R&D processes, and innovation workflows
  • Proven ability to work alongside sales teams on high-value deals, especially with large global organizations or major R&D investors
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value
  • Experience with SaaS platforms, preferably related to R&D, IP, or innovation management
  • A track record of building rapport with key stakeholders and providing excellent client service
