🚀 What’s the opportunity?
As a Business Development Representative, your role is to serve as the sales team’s first point of contact and help prospects and customers understand the value of WorkRamp. You will be responsible for owning the early-stages of the sales process, which includes everything from making a strong first impression, developing the relationship, and shepherding deals forward. We are just at the beginning of building out a high-caliber sales organization, so this is a unique chance to join as a founding member of the team.  🔧
What will I be doing?Â
- Partner with Sales Development Leadership and Marketing to engage with the right prospects from the right accounts to drive pipeline and revenue goals- Achieve qualified meeting and pipeline goals by prospecting and setting meetings with leads - Generating new business pipeline for Account Executives- Successfully manage and overcome sales objections- Collaborate with Marketing to run data-driven nurturing campaigns- Serve as the first point of contact for prospects- Articulate and demonstrate the value of our product to prospects - Document prospect interaction in a variety of tools to ensure efficient lead management 💡
What skills do I need?Â
- Strong desire to work in Sales at an early-stage startup - 2-3 years of customer-facing work experience (SaaS experience is a plus) - Excellent communication skills, including cold-calling and email - Expert time-management within a fast-paced environment - Experience using Sales technologies (Salesforce, Outreach, LeadIQ, Sales Nav, etc)- Bachelor’s degree

This role is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the US.

$60,000 - $80,000 a year
Compensation
WorkRamp is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills. This role's on-target earnings (OTE) range is $60,000-$80,000 annually.Employees at WorkRamp may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus, commission, and stock grants. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee perks, and others.
The full comp package designated for this role can be discussed with your Recruiter during the interview process.Â
