Hoplite Solutions is seeking Senior Level Mission Infrastructure Specialist. The Mission Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing mission-critical virtualization infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years Virtualization experience (on-premises and cloud) infrastructure design and administration e.g., VMWare VSphere/ESXi, Linux KVM/Proxmox, commercial cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- 5+ years of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) architecture, design, implementation, and scaling experience
- VMWare Omnissa Horizon or similar VDI solution
- Hands on experience writing scripts for automation (e.g., bash, python, PowerShell, etc.)
- Proficiency working on Linux and Windows Systems, and supporting infrastructure
- Proficiency with TCP/IP Networking and firewall configuration for VDI infrastructure
- Experience implementing security standards in a fast-paced operational environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with single sign-on (SSO) VDI Infrastructure implementation and integration technology (e.g., Keycloak or similar)
- Experience with network, application, and infrastructure troubleshooting and monitoring
- Experience with implementation of Network Boot configurations (PXE and UEFI)
- Experience with both on premise and cloud deployment technologies and automation
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to multitask, and adaptable to shifting requirements
- Flexibility – Works well both independently and as a team player, must be eager to learn
- Candidate should be a self-starter and possess a willingness to dive into new technologies when appropriate
- Experience implementing and documenting SOPs for system deployments
- Ansible or other infrastructure automation experience on Windows and Linux environment is a plus

The projected compensation range for this position is $175,000 to $215,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the company total compensation package for employees.
