Dynamo Technologies LLC is looking to hire an Information Technology Equipment Custodian (ITEC) to support our Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence Directorate (A2) program out of Langley AFB, VA. The C2I Equipment Custodian Support position is responsible for maintaining accountability and management of Information Technology Equipment (ITE) in accordance with Department of the Air Force Manuals (DAFMAN) and Air Force Manuals (AFMAN).
This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory records and preparation of outdated equipment for disposal through the Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO).
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Maintain Government accountability inventories of C2I equipment.
- Prepare outdated equipment for disposal through DRMO on a quarterly basis.
- Maintain accurate records of C2I equipment assets in the maintenance listing on assigned Asset Information Management (AIM) accounts.
- Conduct quarterly AIM inventories to verify the accuracy of asset records.
- Train directorate Information Technology Equipment Custodians (ITECs) on established inventory and DRMO procedures at least semi-annually.
- Ensure compliance with Department of the Air Force Manual (DAFMAN) 17-1203 and Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-153 guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Assist in the implementation of new inventory management procedures.
- Support audits and inspections related to C2I equipment.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong understanding of Department of the Air Force Manuals (DAFMAN) and Air Force Manuals (AFMAN) related to equipment management and disposal.
- Experience in maintaining government accountability inventories.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and conducting thorough inventories.
- Effective communication skills to train and collaborate with ITECs and stakeholders.
- U.S Citizenship required
Nice to Have Skills
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience in managing the lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to decommissioning.
- Experience supporting or preparing for government inspections, audits, or asset tracking reviews.
