Resi provides world-class technical support and customer service, having one of the highest satisfaction rates in the media industry.The Sales Engineer in this role primarily supports the Resi Sales team by providing the deeper levels of product and technical knowledge support that are often required in the sales process through online and in person demo’s showing the value of Resi Services.  They will provide clarity and understanding for prospects regarding deeper platform capabilities and technical issues by overcoming objections and keeping the sales process moving forward.  This role primarily supports larger opportunities from the Sales Team, but can also provide support across all segments of the sales organization as needed.

Compensation ranges are determined by role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the pay range for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The following states are approved as remote work locations for this position: AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NY, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, WA.


All other states are not in consideration for this role at this time.


What You’ll Do:


  • Serve prospect churches and organizations in partnership with Account Executives (AE’s) by helping to identify their needs and showing how our products solve for their needs. 
  • Ability to articulate the value proposition of Resi Services. 
  • Participate and collaborate in AE sales discovery calls and sales product demonstrations to aid in churches purchasing our products. 
  • Available as a technical resource, supporting all hardware and software aspects of the Resi business.
  • Prepare demo environments and deliver technical presentations Partnered with product management to elevate common product objections. 
  • Share best practices across the team. Providing training and support for the sales team Partner with the Development team on product improvement and releases.
  • Collaborate on  customer requirements to the Senior Sales Engineer as needed.
  • Establish trust and personal rapport with both AEs and prospects.
  • Provide answers for both AE’s (internal teams) and prospects on product offerings, by answering questions and requests.
  • Be Subject Matter Expert on sales calls regarding questions around data migration and API integrations.
  • Be Subject Matter Expert on product and feature functionality across all product offerings.
  • Be Subject Matter Expert on competitor capabilities and be able to speak to the key value add propositions relative to other solutions.
  • Maintain and adjust product demo environment for prospect meetings and general team use. 
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend implementation risk mitigation strategies and tactics
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Part of a highly motivated sales team who are passionate about our customers' success

What You’ll Bring:


  • Experience and/or extensive knowledge of Faith Based  / Not for profit Organizations
  • Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships
  • Prior experience in Saas industry, either working in sales, sales ops, CS  or data analytics
  • Experience delivering a technical demo to an executive audience 
  • Experience translating the needs and/or pain of a prospect to key differentiators of a technical product
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of common SaaS technologies and/or terms

Education and Experience:


  • BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of industry or SaaS sales experience
  • 1- 2 years experience as a sales Engineer  
  • Experience within a faith-based sales process will be prioritized 
  • Familiarity with SalesForce, Zoom, Google and Microsoft applications

Work Environment & Physical Demands: 


Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer will be required. This role consistently operates standard office equipment such as computers and phones. This is largely a sedentary role but may occasionally require lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, or standing as necessary.
