SafeLease is dedicated to helping self-storage operators protect and grow their businesses. With a solid foundation in our rapidly expanding core product, we are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support our executive team in driving strategic growth initiatives. This hybrid role is based in our downtown Austin, Texas office.

What You'll Do


  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis to evaluate M&A opportunities and other strategic initiatives, identifying synergies, risks, and potential financial impact.
  • Build tools and dashboards to analyze key performance metrics, allowing leadership to make data-driven decisions and track business performance.
  • Work closely with the executive team to prioritize strategic initiatives based on business goals and financial impact, ensuring alignment with SafeLease’s growth objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights that support our expansion strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into clear, concise reports that inform business decisions.
  • Support the development of financial models to forecast growth and assess the viability of new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the refinement of internal processes, helping the company operate more efficiently and reduce operational risks.

About You


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with a focus on strategic initiatives, M&A, or growth opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build tools that simplify data analysis and inform decision-making.
  • Proven track record of supporting executive teams by providing actionable insights and prioritizing initiatives that deliver measurable financial impact.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to work through complex challenges and find practical, data-driven solutions.
  • Highly proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and translating findings into clear recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
