Based in the National Capital Region,

Pivot Path Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Automation Engineer to lead and manage the daily back-office automation activities required to support the Health IT systems. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and leading the day-to-day automation activities,
- Design, develop and implement automation strategy for identified process areas including test & evaluation
- Develop and coordinate a automation test strategy and plan with Government Test Manager that will address and identify work breakdown structure, test architecture, schedule, deliverables, required resources, risk assessment, and quality control,
- Serve as automation Liaison between the Test Team, T&E Management, the Government Test Manager, the Product Manager, and Functional Area Management Teams,
- Maintain situational awareness of issues or situations that may impact the ability of the team to complete assignments on time and ensure that management are kept appropriately informed,
- Analyze documents (e.g., design, requirements, architecture, diagrams, flowcharts) to obtain an understanding of the requirements of the automation engagement,
- Train and assist other automation analysts in development and execution of automation scripts,
- Facilitate daily and weekly internal and external status meetings, trainings, and automation strategy meetings
- Forecast for future automation events to includes scope, complexity, requirements analysis breakdown, projected hours, risks, issues, and assumptions, and
- Provide support regarding application and environment risks, system architecture, software delivery processes, and scheduling impacts related to automation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in Tableau software, Power BI or equivalent, including dashboard design, report creation, calculated fields, and data blending.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting business needs and translating them into effective visualizations.
- Proven experience of two years or more with Robotic Process Automation using software such as UiPath
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
