Position Summary


The HR Manager plays a key role in shaping OneEnergy’s culture and ensuring that we attract, develop, and retain top talent. This role is responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including recruiting, employee relations, talent development, employee engagement, HR operations, and HR compliance. 

Job Responsibilities


  • Provides full-cycle recruiting support, including consulting with managers on recruiting needs and strategies, sourcing candidates, screening potential candidates, and extending offers.
  • Supports the execution of HR programs, including project management and communication with the business. Anticipates and communicates challenges impacting the employee experience. 
  • Serves as primary point of contact for employees with inquiries or concerns. Mediates and resolves conflicts while promoting a positive workplace culture. Manages, investigates, and resolves employee relations issues. Collaborates with VP, HR and legal counsel on recommendations as appropriate/required.
  • Coaches leaders through performance concerns, including supporting managers with Performance Improvement Plans and separations, when appropriate.
  • Identifies training needs and coordinates employee development programs. Facilitates workshops and trainings, including development of curriculum.
  • Supports the annual rewards process, including preparing tools and resources, creating communication plans, and consulting with leaders on pay recommendations and best practices.
  • Leverages data and analytics to generate meaningful HR insights and strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention. 
  • Collaborates with leadership, HR, and other key stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that promote a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging
  • Administers leave of absences when needed, including sending out appropriate paperwork, tracking hours, keeping managers informed of leave requests and leave dates, and ensuring compliance with local and federal laws. Participates in the interactive process with employees to determine Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and reasonable accommodations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • At least 7 years of HR experience, including at least 2+ years of recruiting experience
  • Proven ability to lead HR initiatives
  • Ability to build and maintain trust with employees at all levels and manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
  • Comfortable with navigating ambiguous situations
  • Strong attention-to-detail and critical thinking capabilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience working with HRIS systems
