  • Job Description:


    The Senior Hardware Design Engineer will be integral to the development and implementation of cutting-edge DSP processors for Layer 1 (Baseband) processing. As a key member of our engineering team, you will utilize your expertise in electronics and computer engineering to ensure the successful tape-out of complex SoC designs. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to innovative projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Define micro-architecture and write RTL for multiple logic blocks of a DSP core.
    • Run various frontend tools to check for linting, clock domain crossing, synthesis, etc.
    • Collaborate with the physical design team on design constraints and timing closure.
    • Work with the power team on power optimization.
    • Partner with the verification team to develop test plans, coverage plans, and ensure coverage closure.

    Requirements:


    • PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
    • 5+ years of industry experience in hardware design, with a focus on DSP implementation.
    • Proven track record of participating in multiple tape-outs for complex SoC designs.
    • Expertise in frontend tool flows, including synthesis, constraint validation, and power analysis.
    • Hands-on experience with RTL coding and synthesis for DSP hardware implementation.
    • Strong understanding of digital processor architectures, digital communication concepts, and DSP algorithms.
    • Background in FFT, LDPC, and digital filter design is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with baseband hardware design for WLAN, LTE, Bluetooth, Cable Modem, or 5G technologies is a plus.
