Cask is currently seeking a ServiceNow Technical Architect with experience implementing and supporting SecOps and GRC projects. As a Cask Architect, you will work with business consultants, engagement managers, and platform engineers to leverage technical best practices in delivering out-of-the-box and custom solutions to our customers on the ServiceNow platform. This role is accountable for all aspects of the technical solution and implementation from initiation through closeout of Cask customer projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Serve as primary technical point-of-contact for projects focused on cybersecurity capabilities within ServiceNow (IRM/GRC, SIR, VR)
- Own, write and deliver development objectives and align them according to client expectations while keeping best practices in mind
- Act as a key technical interface between the Cask development team and the customer
- Define technical solutions for architecture and design that are aligned with the client's business problems and ServiceNow implementation best practices
- Co-lead requirements gathering workshops with Security Practice team members to provide technical guidance and assist with capturing all necessary business, functional and technical requirements necessary to design and implement the solution
- Collaborate with Business Functional team members to provide technical input to stories
- Oversee developers’ work and own overall quality and delivery of development, providing mentorship on technical design standards and best practices
- Responsible for sprint demos, delivery of additional development artifacts and documentation, and knowledge transfer activities as required
- Work collaboratively with Engagement Manager to monitor for scope creep and resolve critical path technical issues and challenges
- Maintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and products focused on IRM/GRC & SecOps
What you'll bring to the table:
- A background in software development, engineering, IT business administration, cybersecurity, databases, or similar
- Broad understanding of common Cybersecurity platforms including Tenable, Rapid 7, Splunk, Crowdstrike & Archer
- Understanding of common cybersecurity concepts such as vulnerability management, risk management, cyber security frameworks (NIST, COBIT), attack vectors, threat intelligence
- 5+ years working in an enterprise environment with 3+ years on the ServiceNow platform
- Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of Security & Risk/GRC solutions in client environments
- Experience with key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions including SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
- Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using Javascript
- Ability to listen, interpret, strategize and consult on complex business processes and technical concepts
- Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, and situational awareness
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Open to travel 10% of the time
Professional Qualifications:
- Four-year degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
- ServiceNow CIS certification in Risk & Compliance, VR or SIR (current or within 6 months of hire)
Note: Base salary range is $123,000 to $189,000. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
