Position Overview:
The Senior Manager of Demand Planning is a critical member of the operations team, reporting directly to the VP of Operations. They are responsible for overseeing and optimizing demand forecasting and planning processes, ensuring our global supply chain operates efficiently and effectively. They will strategically manage inventory levels and distribution, maintaining best-in-class customer service and financial efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
They will need to excel at building strong relationships across the organization, as the role works closely with sales, sales operations, finance, product, engineering and external partners. The role requires an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented and possesses exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize demand planning processes and operational performance.
- Monitor sales trends, market conditions and customer forecasts to identify supply chain risk mitigation opportunities.
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and stock availability.
- Monitor and analyze customer forecasting and ordering behavior to ensure accuracy of the demand forecast and alignment to supply strategies.
- Develop KPI reporting and analytics to provide insights into demand planning performance.
- Develop and implement end-to-end strategies that improve inventory turns ratios while supporting strong customer service levels.
- Enhance excess and obsolescence risk mitigation strategies, reporting visibility and recommendations.
- Drive cross-functional alignment of operational NPI processes to de-risk and accelerate product launch schedules.
- Proactive identification of risk and problem solving, while maintaining clear, concise and frequent communication across stakeholders.
Experience/Requirements:
Experience in a technology or electronics field is a must. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
- A deep understanding of inventory management best practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- The capability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication tailorable to all seniority levels.

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related fields.
Salary Range: $125,500 - $150,000This base pay range will vary depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
