THE ROLE


The Admissions Advisor will engage students for enrollment in a program from one of our college and university partners.  The Admissions Advisor will recruit qualified applicants with a consultative approach, an ability to meet challenges head-on, and a passion for changing lives through high-quality education. This position will report to the Director of Admissions.This is a full-time remote role, but we do have an office in Kansas City for those that prefer an office environment. We also have growing teams in Los Angeles and Denver.

 

THE RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Prospect for and enroll students into college programs
  • Make outbound phone calls and send texts and emails to engage prospective students
  • Conduct initial student interview
  • Consult with and prepare students to start class
  • Document all activities related to student interactions in the student database
  • Exercise discretion within process and follow all compliance guidelines 
  • Follow up with students after enrollment to ensure readiness to start class
  • Collaborate with partner school staff as it relates to student support

THE REQUIREMENTS


  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • 1+ years of customer service or sales experience
  • General knowledge of the college admissions process
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with prospective students
  • Persistence coupled with a passion for education
  • A proven track record of achieving measurable results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven department
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong ability in vocabulary and grammar 
  • Basic computer and database experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • Admissions experience
  • Experience in a high-volume call environment
