FINANCIAL ANALYST II

As a key contributor, you will provide crucial support to our esteemed client located in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities:
• Perform financial management and funds execution functions in support of major information technology systems, both Program of Record (POR) and non-POR.• Help establish financial business practices for integration into the client’s financial business system.• Identify potential problems and recommend solutions through analysis.• Collaborate with functional specialists, automation specialists, contractors, vendors, and clients to effectively translate the client’s requirements into an automated application.• Utilize state-of-the-art tools and processes to automate financial applications in the most efficient manner, while adhering to established accounting principles and practices.This is an on-site full-time, salaried, exempt position.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management, Financial Accounting, or a related field.• Minimum of five years of specialized experience.• Prior experience with the US Navy’s ERP is preferred.• Knowledge or experience within the DOD (Department of Defense) and DON (Department of the Navy).• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
