Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively manage projects (under supervision) as assigned including new orders and MACDs. Incumbent will assess and address risk, communicate with clients proactively and professionally, manage schedules as defined, perform change control processes, and manage cost, install and manage services and projects with a high degree of customer satisfaction. Incumbent is expected to assess and consider various courses of action and will have the authority to make independent decisions during the course of projects.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, Technical Project Coordinators, and other staff and take appropriate actions as deemed necessary to ensure satisfactory project completion.
- Implement VoIP, co-location, and circuit projects including the specialized technical implementation of each, as well as the management of the order schedule, scope, and budget.
- Request, order, configure, provision, modify, set up, cancel or disconnect services and devices according to technical and Verve best practices. These include circuits, fax accounts, phones, phone numbers, voice service & network equipment.
- Build expertise of Verve technology solutions, project management and Verve best practices including technical procedures and processes by remaining up to date on internal training and documentation.
- Show continuous improvement in Quality Management of customer expectations and verified deliverables.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, other staff with respect to matters of significance and take appropriate actions as deemed necessary to ensure satisfactory project completion.
- Perform consultative services for clients regarding their current or new services, voice and internet needs. This includes requirements analysis prior to (at the request of Sales) or during a new order.
- Manage and track their projects’ status using team spreadsheets, and or the project portfolio management software.
- Follow guidance and input of Service Delivery team members or management to install projects as assigned including new orders and disconnecting of services. Incumbent will assess and address risk, communicate with clients proactively and professionally, manage schedules as defined, Install and manage services at the client site, and projects with a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Work with the Service Delivery team members to configure and prepare network hardware for installation.
- Travel to client sites to install network and voice hardware when needed.
- May need to use personal vehicle to travel to and from customer sites. Reimbursement will be provided as per company reimbursement policy.
- Assist service support with client support needs, including traveling to client sites to replace hardware, or acting as “remote hands” as directed by service support representatives.
- Assist in managing or completing internal Verve projects (cable runs, stacking equipment etc..) as requested.
- Maintain internal technical and process documentation.
- Execute, under only general supervision, special assignments and tasks.
- Perform other duties or changed duties as needed or directed.

- Perform basic mathematic calculations for billing, project and time management.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of one year(s) related experience.
- Background in Tech, Networking IT, VOIP a plus, with a desire to learn ins and outs of VOIP.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks as assigned.
- One year managing small to medium sized projects with small to medium complexity.
- Proven organization skills.
Preferred certifications:CompTIA A+CompTIA Network plusICND1, ICND2 or CCNA

- Must have current and valid driver’s license must be able to provide proof of vehicle insurance

Salary Description$30.52-$33.90/hr.
