JOB TITLE: HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resource Generalist will be part of an HR team that supports our locations and will be located on site in our City of Industry location. The HR Generalist will support the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring, onboarding, benefits, leave, and interpreting and guiding leaders and employees on company policies and practices. This position will report to the Human Resources Manager. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000/yr. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
- Implements new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, worker’s compensation, leave, disciplinary matters, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and employee engagement
- Conducts employee relations investigations related to complaints and grievances, documenting findings, recommending appropriate actions, and overseeing the full cycle of closing investigations.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to management.
- Provides guidance and coaching to leaders and employees.
- Conduct regular audits of employee benefit files, ensuring compliance and accuracy; respond to and address any benefits-related questions from client groups, providing clear and comprehensive information as needed.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Thorough knowledge of California employment-related laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience with supporting and developing strong cross-functional partnership and collaboration across the company.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Demonstrated learning agility with technology systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least two years of human resource experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and criminal background check.
