We are looking for a part-time VIDEO PRODUCTION INTERN, to learn from our creative team and support our marketing efforts!If you’re ready to dive into the real world of video marketing and content creation this may be the opportunity for you!The Candidate:


  • You are a video production or marketing student, recent graduate, or in a related field with experience and interest in video production. 

  • You know the ins and outs of editing video in Adobe Premiere and Capcut

  • You can script and edit engaging videos that capture attention and understand the power of persuasion to drive sales

  • You are a creative self-starter and idea-generator with excellent collaboration and analytical skills. 

  • You’re naturally curious and want to learn from experienced professionals and test your videos with real ad spend.

Responsibilities:


  • Edit and assist in producing short-form videos (15-90 seconds) with a strong focus on driving conversions (purchases) on YouTube, Meta and TikTok.

  • Optimize videos for various platforms, ensuring they meet specific requirements (aspect ratios, video lengths, etc.) and are tailored to achieve platform-specific goals.

  • Assist in the brainstorming, scripting, casting and development of video concepts.

  • Iterate on winning video creative by testing elements such as hooks, calls-to-action, and visuals to enhance conversion rate.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with campaign objectives, target audience, and conversion goals.

  • Monitor performance metrics to understand video effectiveness and refine editing techniques based on data-driven insights.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in conversion-focused video content and editing techniques as well as social media trends.

  • Review creative briefs

Requirements:


  • A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work, particularly in short form or conversion-focused content is required.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Media Production, Communications, Videography or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut)

  • Strong understanding of ad platforms for video (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok), especially their advertising best practices.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and file management with the ability to manage multiple projects for multiple brands simultaneously.

Nice to Have:


  • Basic knowledge of design software (e.g., Figma, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects) is a plus.

  • Script writing and storyboarding abilities

  • Videographer, Lighting, or Sound recording skills

  • Casting experience

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 an hourScheduling :


  • Hours: Min 12 hours - Max 16 per week

Work Days:  2 days a week in the San Diego (Mission Valley) officeHours: May not exceed 8 hours per day or 20 hours per week. Work schedule will be determined by the selected student intern candidate and the hiring manager.The pay range reflects the salary amount the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position.
