The Role:
Halcyon’s goal is to deliver an anti-ransomware solution that breaks new ground as to what a security product can deliver. Aligned with this goal, Halcyon is looking for an experienced machine learning pipeline engineer to help build efficient and effective ML Pipelines. Using security data, we thwart, interrupt, delay, or otherwise confound attackers. To accomplish this, we extract needles from haystacks, pull out the signal from the noise and provide early warnings to the boots on the ground.Buzzwords, similes, and metaphors aside, Halcyon is a fun place to work with a serious focus on protecting our customers and making the world a better place.

Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience in ML Operations, preferably using MLFlow
Strong Experience with Spark
Strong understanding of data at scale
Experience with Python
Experience with AWS, Docker
Experience and ability to communicate effectively about various AI/ML tools and techniques
The knowledge and confidence to know when AI isn't the answer
Bonus Skills and Qualifications:
A good understanding of security and security data
Experience leveraging Smart/Fuzzy hashes to build protection-impacting capabilities

The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $204,000Bonus Target: 10%In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.
