Position Summary &
Responsibilities
SIG is shaping the future of higher education and seeking a talented Ellucian Colleague Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the implementation, customization, and support of the Colleague ERP system. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs, configure the system, and provide ongoing technical support. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that our clients achieve their goals and maximize the value of their Ellucian Colleague investment.
- Implementation and Configuration: Collaborate with and assist clients with the implementation of Colleague software suite and connected applications.
- Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements, provide recommendations, and ensure that solutions align with their business processes.
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for the Ellucian Colleague system, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Project Management: Manage multiple project timelines and deliverables, setting priorities and ensuring that all milestones are met and client expectations are exceeded.
- Troubleshoot: Offer innovative solutions to clients’ technical requests pertaining to the Colleague software suite.
Required Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of current Colleague technologies
- Experience with SQL
- Programming expertise
- System Administration knowledge
- Experience with the installation of new releases and updates
- Experience with Envision, Self Service, Workflow and ELF programming. UniBasic, UniQuery, UniObjects, TOOL Kit and Colleague Studio
- Strong knowledge of Self Service with the ability to create modifications
- Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple projects and exercise sound problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer service approach
- Strong desire to learn and collaborate with team members and clients
- Experience in a consulting capacity, focusing on enhancing business processes and creating efficiency
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and functional issues within Colleague
- The ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL Database is a plus
- Experience with Ethos and Ethos Extend is a plus but not required
- Experience working with Texas Connection Consortium (TCC)
Pay and Benefits
- The salary range is $90,000 -$125,000 + Annual Bonus

The listed salary range for this position is indicative and subject to adjustment based on the candidate's unique skills and location.
