Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Over-The-Counter (OTC) specialist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our OTC trading business in the MENA region. The OTC specialist needs to possess a deep understanding of OTC trading, cryptocurrency markets and have a proven track record of facilitating large transactions with HNWI and institutional clients.
Responsibilities
- Actively identify and source new OTC trading opportunities with potential HNWI & Institutional Clients.
- Lead the deal origination process, establishing and nurturing relationships to drive OTC trading volumes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of systems, processes and legal structures.
- Manage relationships with HNWI and institutional partners interested in OTC trading.
- Understand and cater to clients’ specific needs, providing a personalized and consultative approach.
- Execute OTC trades on behalf of clients, ensuring efficient and discreet transactions.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients, ensuring competitive and transparent OTC rates.
- Collaborate with liquidity providers to secure favourable terms for large transactions.
- Implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with OTC trading.
- Work closely with the compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Staying up to date with market trends, news and developments in the crypto space.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in OTC sales/trading (Experience within the crypto industry is a plus).
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
- Strong network of clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients.
- In-depth understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading strategies, and market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in dynamic market conditions.
