YOUR ROLE
We’re looking for a bright cross-channel Media Supervisor to manage the day-to-day responsibilities for various clients. The job covers media planning and buying from A to Z – target analysis, plan development, client management, media partner negotiations, program execution & optimization and champions integration and strategy.Crossmedia’s Supervisors are strong educators, taking opportunities to mentor their team on best practices and guiding through campaign planning, launch, execution, and reporting. As a natural problem solver, Supervisors exhibit resourcefulness daily, always ahead of the game, expecting client questions, developing timelines, and planning for weeks beyond. This role requires exemplarity communication and interpersonal skills.
Please note this role requires a candidate to work onsite in our NY office. We offer a hybrid work setting with employees working both onsite and from home.
- Shares their in-depth understanding of cross-channel media planning and development, including the intricacies of online and offline media activation, media math, media billing processes, and media campaign performance analysis.
- Leverages relationships with key partners and clients by navigating media partner negotiations, program execution & optimization, with a focus on integration and strategy
- Serves as the key point of contact for clients related to strategic plan details, timelines, and deliverable expectations.
- Measurement – understands what different forms of measurement are available and how to assess which is the best solution for a client.
- Supervises the Planner and Assistant’s communication and actively coaches and mentors’ team on best practices, industry trends, etc.
- Assist Directors in strategic plan development through mastery of media planning knowledge
- A motivated leader, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- The ability to multitask is key in this position. Supervisors may be required to manage multiple campaigns at once.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in media planning
- Experience working with data and analytics team, evaluating campaign performance, building insights, etc.
- Familiarity with syndicated consumer research surveys (MRI, Simmons, YouGov, etc.)
- Highly effective project manager: You have solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking agility.
- Strong listening skills and believes good thinking can come from anyone and any place. A team player willing to compromise their point of view in support of others.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skill
Tools: Strata and Adazzle, Nielsen, Kantar, MRI, Simmons, Telmar, YouGov, Datorama Salary range 80-100k. Commensurate with experience. Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications, certifications, tenure in the industry and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
