Job Title: Delivery DriverDepartment: OperationsReports to: Branch ManagerFLSA Status: Non-ExemptThe delivery drivers are responsible for providing excellent customer service through the safe and efficient delivery of parts and products to our customers using a company provided vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver auto/truck parts to customer in company vehicle
- Maintain a positive attitude and deliver unparalleled customer service
- Check outgoing deliveries for accuracy before being delivered
- Comply with all applicable laws / regulations, as well as company policies / procedures.
- Ensure efficient deliveries by quality checking orders that ultimately gets our products in the hands of our customers.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles as well as observing company safety procedures.
- Report any malfunctions of company vehicles immediately.
- Organize schedule of deliveries to maximize efficiency and post schedule to make available for contact
- Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Exerting up to 75 pounds of force repetitively and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Bending, twististing, squatting, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking and moving at a quick speed of pace are required.
- Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per department standards
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Ability to lift load and deliver merchandise
- Excellent customer service skills

Education and Experience
- A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
- Basic computer skills
