Position Summary
The Studio Producer will serve a key part of the studio environment at the Atlanta Falcons facility, reporting to the Manager of Studio Production. This role will create content in the live & live-to-tape environment, producing content such as podcasts, talent and player-based shows segments, live shows, press conferences, and other content based out of Ticketmaster Studios. This content will be created for various Atlanta Falcons distribution mediums, such as all social channels, AtlantaFalcons.com, YouTube, Mercedes-Benz Stadium in-game presentation, and more.
This individual must have a strong understanding of a control room environment and high performing content for football audiences.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Direct and produce studio show segments, including working with talent.
- Direct, produce, record and post podcasts for the Atlanta Falcons Podcast Network.
- Perform production tasks in a control room: direct live-to-tape show productions, technical direct on a Ross switcher, operate graphics on Ross XPression, teleprompter, clip player, audio mixers.
- Film and edit features utilizing Cannon cameras, wireless audio and Adobe post-production software.
- Contribute compelling content ideas for Falcons digital mediums to support Falcons’ brand strategy.
- Set lighting designs for interviews and segments in different environments.
- Keep video assets organized and named by logging and archival.
- Create branded video assets for utilization within shows, podcasts, and other segments.
- Utilize Adobe After Effects to create titling, lower thirds and additional graphics.
- Utilize post-production to finish and master studio productions to a final product.
- Assist in maintaining all studio-based camera and control room equipment.
Qualifications and Education
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Film/Video production. Experience in sports is preferred; not required.
- Bachelor’s Degree
Required Skills, Experience, and Capabilities
- Proficient in a control room environment and the control room equipment that is needed to conduct a live and live-to-tape production.
- Proficient with podcast production and marketing.
- Proficient in post-production techniques utilizing the Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Ability to manage projects from start to finish on short timelines.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays based on the football calendar.
- Strong understanding and ability to implement video asset organization processes.
- Must be able to show examples of past video production work.
- Demonstrate professionalism within the work environment.
- Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal communication skills.
- Grass Valley Cameras and control panel experience.
- Ross XPression, Ross Piero and Adobe After Effects experience preferred.
