  • Position Overview: Oversee closing and disbursement of mortgage loans while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and investor requirements.
    Principal Accountabilities: 
  • Prepares Loan Packages in accordance with State, Federal, and Investor Lending Guidelines
  • Reviews and approves the Closing Disclosure (CD) and applicable settlement statements
  • Performs audits of RESPA/TILA requirements as it pertains to the issuance of Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures and bona fide changes in circumstances
  • Final compliance reviews of the loan to ensure adherence to high cost tests, TILA, RESPA, HOEPA requirements
  • Reviews executed loan documents to ensure accuracy and proper execution prior to issuance of funding authorization
  • Ensures accurate purchase request of funds via the warehouse bank in reconciliation with the final approved Closing Disclosure
  • Acts as the main company point of contact for closing/disbursement questions and/or concerns as it pertains to assigned files

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2 years’ experience in closing in the most recent 5 years
  • Experience in closing various loan programs – Agency and Non-QM preferred
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents.
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several variables.
