RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an experienced 3D Generalist with a good eye for aesthetics to join our Tetris Block Party team. The 3D Artist will have duties including
- Collaborate closely with the Art, Design, Engineer and QA teams, to create visually appealing and highly aesthetic pre-rendered and real-time 3D assets that align with the product's visual style and standards as well as its technical requirements.
- Create assets optimized for game engine usage in real-time as well as usage in pre-rendered content.
- Iterated based on feedback from stakeholders to achieve the desired aesthetic and functionality while enhancing the overall game experience.
- Utilize industry-standard software and in-house production pipeline tools to create 3D assets for usage in real time and pre-rendered content.
- Stay informed about industry trends and techniques to continually improve our 3D workflow and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a 3D Artist (at least 5 years), with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in crafting high-quality assets for both real-time usage in games and for pre-rendered content.
- Proficient knowledge of both high-poly and low-poly workflows (Mobile - a significant plus), including proper topology for rigging and animation, UV unwrapping and optimization, setting up lighting and materials, Rendering, and texture baking.
- Proficiency in Maya and Substance painter.
- Strong technical background and creative problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to learn new technologies and software packages.
- Team player who gladly speaks their mind, and responds well to constructive feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Exceptional organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
