The IT Associate is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring that all IT systems run smoothly. What you will do:
Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Respond to helpdesk tickets and inquiries in a timely manner.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Assist users with software applications and operating systems.
Set up and configure new hardware and software installations.
Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions using ticketing software.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues as needed.
Educate users on IT policies, best practices, and security protocols.
Conduct routine maintenance and updates on systems and software.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
Monitor and manage device inventory ensuring that all assets are accounted for and properly maintained.
Develop training materials and resources to enhance user understanding of IT tools and services.
What you will need:
Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, with a focus on customer service.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with Windows 10 Pro operating systems and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, antivirus software, Ticketing software, Active Directory (AD).
Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
