Flotech is a subsidiary of FloWorks International LLC, which is a privately held company located in Pasadena, Texas.The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing processes to ensure the compliance to standards and customer requirements. You will also manage project and manage incidents across multiple responsible parties across department branches, customer, and suppliers. In addition, you will play an active role in the supplier management process.Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...
Perform internal audits and facilitate external audits
Develop forms, process, procedures, and/or quality plans to improve business performance and prevent shipment of non-compliant material
Develop and implement quality policies and procedures to new branches
Conduct training to branches as required to ensure compliance to expectation
Monitor and evaluate data to drive business improvements
Manage calibration of essential measurement devices
Record, investigate and dispose of nonconformance issues, including root causing and implement corrective actions as required.
Perform evaluation and on-site visits as required
Facility communication between multi external and internal parties to reach resolution to incidents
Serve on quality improvement committees and task forces, as required, to enhance and improve the quality of products and services.

A must…
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or other technical degree.
- 5+ years working experience in the industrial pressure equipment industry with at least two (2) years in a quality or engineering/technical role.
- Working knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001/API Q1) and root cause evaluation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach to duties, complex problem-solving, excellent decision-making, and top-notch time management.
