Copy Manager

An affiliate of The Agora Companies is searching for a Copy Manager to join their growing business. The Copy Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the review process for all promotional packages. The responsibilities associated with this role are threefold 1) ensuring that copy flows as seamlessly as possible through the review process by helping copywriters adhere to best practices for submission of copy, and 2) Overseeing and making recommendations on short and long-form financial copy. 3) Managing promo schedules and projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Working directly with Copy Chief, Publisher and copywriters
  • Writing and reviewing financial copy
  • Performing administrative tasks and maintaining digital databases.
  • Maintaining executive email and schedule
  • Managing promotional schedule and working with all teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Championing adherence to best practices for submitting copy ideas and promos
  • Reviewing copy material for a project and helping in defining the project scope, goals and deliverables to production team so a detailed “overview” of a project can be given before the team begins on the project
  • Communicating pertinent information regarding a promotional package by sending package overview to the Production Team Lead.
  • Coordinating with the copywriter and marketing team, to ensure advertisements ready upon project completion.
  • Researching copywriting and legal techniques to strengthen copy while ensuring an adequate legal foundation and provide increasingly useful suggestions to both copywriters and legal editors.

Qualifications:


  • 1-2+ years working as a copywriter in the financial industry
  • Basic knowledge of financial copywriting
  • 2+ years of working experience in a fast-paced organization.
  • Close collaboration with team members and all departments is a must; communication is vital in this role. -
  • Being meticulously organized and motivated is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

Compensation Range: $70,000- $80,000
